About the integration
Lavu is a restaurant-focused POS and management platform built for service models ranging from quick service and fast casual to full-service restaurants, bars, food trucks, pizza shops, coffee shops, and other hospitality concepts. PayPact offers Lavu as an integrated restaurant solution and works with merchants on the POS and payment setup so ordering and payment collection stay connected to day-to-day restaurant operations. Lavu supports restaurant tools such as iPad-based POS, online ordering, self-ordering kiosks, kitchen display workflows, inventory and reporting, employee management, customer tools, and a broad integration ecosystem. Dual Pricing / cash-discount functionality is available for eligible U.S. configurations, allowing the restaurant to present a lower cash price and a card price within the supported Lavu workflow.

How it works with PayPact
Lavu remains the restaurant operating system for menus, orders, tables or counter service, kitchen routing, online ordering, and reporting. PayPact works with the restaurant on the Lavu and payment configuration, including the locations, devices, printers/KDS, service types, and checkout flows that need to be supported. Before go-live, the setup is validated across common restaurant scenarios such as dine-in or counter orders, tips, split checks where used, online orders, voids/refunds, end-of-day reporting, and payment reconciliation. If Dual Pricing is selected, the cash/card presentation and receipt experience are included in the implementation review. PayPact also provides continued support around the merchant’s Lavu/payment environment.
Requirements
What you’ll need+
- A Lavu POS environment sized for the restaurant’s locations, service model, devices, printers, kitchen displays, and online-ordering needs.
- An approved PayPact merchant account and the supported Lavu payment configuration for the restaurant.
- A current menu and a clear operating plan for order types, tips, taxes, discounts, staff permissions, kitchen routing, refunds/voids, and reporting.
- For Dual Pricing, an eligible U.S. configuration plus the required customer-facing pricing, signage, and receipt setup confirmed during implementation.
Setup
Map the restaurant workflow+
Review the service model, menus, locations, order channels, kitchen flow, staff roles, hardware, and current payment process so the Lavu setup matches how the restaurant actually operates.
Configure Lavu and payments+
Set up the selected Lavu POS components, payment connection, devices, menu and checkout settings, and any online-ordering, kiosk, KDS, or Dual Pricing options included in the project.
Test, train and launch+
Validate ordering and payment scenarios end to end, including tips, split checks where applicable, online orders, receipts, voids/refunds, reporting, settlement, and reconciliation, then train users and move the restaurant live.
