About the integration
Comstar’s AcceptBlue Connector embeds payment acceptance into Odoo ERP for invoice payments, customer-portal payments and website checkout. The connector supports credit-card and ACH methods and is currently documented for Odoo versions 13 through 19 across Odoo.sh, on-premise and private-cloud environments such as AWS or DigitalOcean. Comstar also documents encrypted payment transmission, fraud-prevention controls, user authentication and a configurable surcharge function. PayPact coordinates the accept.blue merchant setup and can enable Dual Pricing for the supported payment configuration.

How it works with PayPact
Odoo remains the ERP and customer workflow platform. Comstar installs/configures the AcceptBlue Connector, and PayPact provisions the accept.blue merchant/gateway route. The implementation determines whether payments originate from invoices, the customer portal or the website, then configures card/ACH methods, posting and reconciliation. Security, surcharge/Dual Pricing treatment and applicable refund/void workflows are validated before launch.
Requirements
What you’ll need+
- A supported Odoo deployment. Comstar currently documents Odoo 13–19 across Odoo.sh, on-premise and private-cloud environments including AWS or DigitalOcean.
- An approved PayPact merchant account and active accept.blue gateway configuration.
- The Comstar AcceptBlue Connector plus administrator access to the Odoo environment and the relevant invoice/portal/website modules.
- Defined invoice, portal and website payment paths, card/ACH requirements, reconciliation rules, security/access requirements, and Dual Pricing or surcharge treatment if used.
Setup
Confirm the Odoo environment+
Identify the Odoo version/deployment, active modules, invoice/portal/website payment paths, card/ACH requirements, user access and current accounting/reconciliation workflow.
Provision accept.blue+
Complete PayPact merchant onboarding and establish the accept.blue credentials needed by the connector.
Coordinate Comstar configuration+
Work with Comstar to install/configure the connector, enable card/ACH methods, secure user access, and map the selected Odoo payment workflows.
Test each payment path+
Validate invoice, portal and website payments, security/access, posting, refunds/voids as applicable, reconciliation, and Dual Pricing or surcharge presentation before launch.
